TEAMtalk Satellite offers a daily weather information package from Applied Weather Technology (AWT). This system allows the Master to obtain advanced weather forecasts as a data file, giving a clear and accurate forecast every time for all ocean zones.
The system offers information about a wide variety of weather conditions including wind speed, wave heights, swell, sea surface temperature, pressure, current, ice and tropical storm conditions.
A supplementary charge is levied for this service as outlined below (allowing unlimited access to weather data).
TEAMtalk Satellite's weather system of choice will greatly improve efficient and effective navigation, reduce the amount of onboard operation time and improve vessel safety.
