Internet-on-Board is a revenue-generating Internet café system specifically designed for the cruise line market.
Internet-on-Board enables users to send and receive e-mails and surf the Web. It is extremely easy to maintain onboard and is highly cost effective, with direct integration of charges into proprietary billing systems such as Fidelio and Vams.
Internet-on-Board product is based around a shipboard Intranet, providing users with the following options:
1. Surf Onboard
2. Surf Online
3. Personal E-mail Account
Surf Onboard

Cruise company information in the form of advertising of forthcoming cruises, excursions, vessel information, etc.
Next port tourist information, guides, etc
Free access to the cruise line companys home page
Surf Online
The Surf Online module provides a standard World Wide Web surfing facility via Inmarsat-B-HSD, Vsat or other satellite broadband systems through an Internet portal customised by the cruise line company. The functions include:
An offline portal with advertising opportunities
Simple online Internet search capabilities
Live links to related websites
Live surfing of the World Wide Web
E-mail
This Internet-on-Board Personal E-mail module will provide every passenger with an individual mailbox for his/her mail.
